Skyberry – Tundra Flora Abundance v1.0
This mod changes the appearance of the Tundra Flora drastically. It comes with terrain textures, new grasses and a ton of other plants, shrubs and trees. It covers the vast area from Whiterun Bridge to Loreius Farm, halfway to Valtheim Towers, over to the small bridge before Dragon Bridge, Cliffside Retreat, Rorikstead to the Reach…
DLC requirements
– Dawnguard
– Dragonborn
– Hearthfire
This mod comes as is – because I have no time to go on further or make patches for it. Please make your own if needed.
Use TexGen and DynDoLOD to make your individual LOD.
Hundrets of different plants and grasses turn the Tundra into a colorful area of lively diversity. Shrubs and bushes along the roads form a landscape of wild and beauty and give a taste what nature could be.
From dense grasses to low shrubs with plenty of berries and other fruits cover a vast region and turn everything into a sweet-smelling spring.
Enjoy a Skyrim Tundra with a new marvelous ambience.
Of course I could have placed a billion of shrubs and plants more – but I decided to let it be by now – the gaps can easily be filled with other landscape mods.
I reworked every cell by hand, selected and combined the grass carefully and all of the shrubs and trees and thickets were handplaced. I tried to avoid clipping grass, but maybe I have overlooked some things, and sometimes the game engine shifts grass in the way where I just had removed it. These should be only a few spots.
Some of the screenshots show vanilla Skyrim with only my mod installed, some with ENB and some how it looks ingame with a ton of other landscape mods installed like terrain, trees, harvestables, textures, climates.
Mod is not compatible with anything that alters the landscape in the Tundra like:
– Whiterun Mansion
– Elysium Estate
– Kintyra Castle
Mod can and should be used with other grass mods. Install first other grass mods, then this mod, then terrain textures, if you use another mod for them.
Mod will come with a significant fps drop around Whiterun – nothing I can do about it.
Settings in your Skyrim.ini:
[Grass]
bAllowCreateGrass=1
bAllowLoadGrass=0
iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=7
iMinGrassSize=20
Other settings will not work like I intended, but depends on your taste and performance. I hope you have fun!
