Description
Simple, scary and in the right hands, or should we say, in a strong enough arm, the massive iron blade of this ultra greatsword is a killing tool to be reckoned with. Made out of a easy to work material, the design for this weapon was made to just cleave through its targets with ease, even the toughest armor or broad shield will face deep trouble when facing this. Not as hard as steel, but strong enough to get the job done.
IMPORTANT:
– This mod edits several cells and world records. I carried on the Unofficial Skyrim Patch fixes to those records (but USLEEP it’s not required). Also install this mod before mods like ELFX, Sounds of Skyrim, JK’s Skyrim, or Realistic Water Two, for example; and checkout your load order with TES5edit, if you know how to use it.
– Default version added only to bandit bosses leveled lists. Recommended to use Wrye Bash after installing the mod.
– Unique variant: Scorcher. It’s a unique variant that can be collected when exploring the world. Burned by the fires of Oblivion, the weapon has now a burned appearence and an everlasting ember burning in its blade.
When equipped, grants you an passive ability called Embers of Oblivion which bestows you 20% fire resistance and burns your foes in every hit for no enchantment cost at all, its fire damage increase as your Destruction skill progresses. See more below:
Destruction level less than 20: 10 fire damage per second for 2 seconds.
Destruction level between 20 and 40: 20 fire damage per second for 2 seconds.
Destruction level between 40 and 60: 30 fire damage per second for 2 seconds.
Destruction level between 60 and 80: 40 fire damage per second for 2 seconds.
Destruction level between 80 and 100: 50 fire damage per second for 2 seconds.
Destruction level at or above 100: 60 fire damage per second for 2 seconds.
Scorcher can NOT be enchanted due to how its effects work.
How to obtain
– You will find an Iron Ultra Greatsword in Robber’s Cove, Volskygge, Deepwood Redoubt, Lost Knife Hideout, Treva’s Watch Escape Tunnel and some other locations. And you can craft an Iron Ultra Greatsword at any forge, no perks required.
– About Scorcher. Travelers and scouts from Winterhold and Eastmarch have previously reported a crew of bandits attacking citizens and caravans on the surroundings, among them, an vicious orc was seen carrying a ‘fiery” massive greatsword, report also says that they are probably making camp on the coast at an old ship wreckage. Might be worth checking out. There is also a small journal with more lore to it with the same bandit you obtain the weapon.
